Chasity Byrd

Chasity Byrd is familiar with the Gulf Coast. She was born and raised in Bay Minette, and graduated from Baldwin County High School.

Chasity earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a minor in Meteorology from the University of South Alabama. She also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University.

While attending the University of South Alabama, she was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority, where she was president her last year. She was also a member of the South Alabama Meteorology Club and Lambda Pi Eta Communication Honor Society.

Her hobbies include traveling, anything outdoors, shopping, sporting events (Roll Tide!) and spending time with family and friends. Chasity is excited to be working close to home and looks forward to covering weather and news in our local communities.

Along with weather and reporting, Chasity also does a weekly segment called "What's Happening", which highlights events going on in the upcoming weekend. The segment airs every Friday.
