FOX10’s Chasity Byrd plays many roles at the station. Her main role is being a meteorologist on the FOX10 News StormTracker team.
Chasity has been on-air and in the field during many severe and tropical weather situations. Chasity considers weather her passion, and likes being there for her viewers when weather threatens.
Another role Chasity plays is as a general assignment reporter. You may have seen Chasity’s coverage of the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill, the Steve Nodine murder trial in Baldwin County, the Billings murders in the Florida Panhandle, city and county happenings from across the Gulf Coast, and much more.
Chasity loves reporting live on the scene, and works hard to get news exclusively for FOX10.

Chasity has a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from Mississippi State University. She also has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Alabama in Communication with a minor in Meteorology. She grew up in Baldwin County, but now calls Mobile home.
