Joe Emer

Joe Emer joined the FOX 10 News Team in April 2007. A few months later, Joe jumped at the opportunity to join FOX 10’s award winning sports department.

Joe comes from Wisconsin and is a lifelong Milwaukee Bucks, Brewers and Green Bay Packers fan. Ask him what he thinks of Brett Favre and you're in for a long conversation! With that said, Joe is thoroughly impressed by the passion for SEC football in the south. He says there’s nothing like the gameday atmosphere in Tuscaloosa, Auburn, and Baton Rouge.

Joe earned his journalism degree at the University of Minnesota-Minneapolis and made his debut at KDUH-TV in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. He then joined WAOW-TV in Wausau, Wisconsin, where he anchored the #1 rated morning show and was recognized by the Wausau "City Pages" as one of the readers' favorite TV personalities. He also won a 2006 Emmy Award for his report on "Political Gridlock."
