Meteorologist / Reporter

WALA FOX10 News, the number one news station in the Mobile-Pensacola market is located on the beautiful Gulf Coast and is looking for a meteorologist / reporter.

We want someone who understands the importance of alerting viewers about developing weather, while maintaining a calm, reassuring voice. Team coverage is our focus as we track hurricanes and severe storms in this active weather region. We are looking for a candidate with interest to be a part of a major weather event, no matter when it happens.

A degree of certificate in broadcast meteorology is required, NWA and/or AMS Seal preferred. Applicants must also be capable of writing and reporting. In addition to being capable of storytelling, you must be able to post web stories and understand social networking. A valid drivers license is required.
