John Rogers joined the FOX10 News team in December 2009. As a proud Air Force brat, he spent his childhood in the country of Panama, then traveled across America.
His parents eventually settled in Crestview, Florida. While there, he got bitten by the journalism bug at Crestview High School.
John later attended Florida State University, where he spent most of his years reporting for a variety of news and sports programs on WFSU-TV and Sun Sports. He was soon hired at Tallahassee's CBS Affiliate, WCTV, as an internet reporter.
In 2008, he graduated from FSU with a B.A. in Communications and WCTV sent him off to it's Valdosta, Georgia bureau as a general assignment reporter.
A few months later, he climbed the ranks at the station and returned to Tallahassee as the weekend morning anchor.
John enjoys racquetball, kayaking, rooting for his Seminoles, and trying anything new.
He is now thrilled to be a part of this news team, and excited to be back on the Gulf Coast!
