Russell Colburn joined the FOX10 News team in February 2011 as a videojournalist.
He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, but has lived in beautiful Destin, Florida most of his life. Russell couldn't be more excited to bring the news to his friends, family and fellow Gulf Coast natives.
"Hi, mom!"
Russell's journey to Mobile started after graduating from the University of Central Florida (GO KNIGHTS!) in December 2010. There, he earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism and minors in Business Administration and Cinema Studies.
At UCF, Russell reported for and anchored the school's award-winning broadcast, Knightly News. He is also a member of the fraternity Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI) and is proud to be a graduate brother of Orlando's Omega Phi chapter.
In his free time, Russell enjoys playing football, golf, softball, and many other sports, as well as watching his Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, and UCF Knights- since great college football isn't ONLY played in the SEC!
