What should people look for in a new career?

Something that will teach them skills that are in demand and hopefully, something they enjoy. Who wouldn't enjoy the massage and beauty industry? It is a pampering atmosphere and very rewarding. Even in a recession, the cosmetology industry and skin care industry are booming.

You can be a massage therapist and work in Chiropractic offices, hotels, cruise ships, or your own private studio.

You can become an esthetician and work at a leading hotel like the Battlehouse or Grand Hotel or even in a medi-spa doing laser treatments with a doctor.

Of course, cosmetologists have choices too: Most women love to do hair. You might has well get paid to do what you love.

What should people look for when they are considering College Training?

The should consider how fast can finish their training and get on their way to start a job. Vocational training such as what Blue Cliff offers is a fast way to get a new career. You can finish in as little as 10 to 12 months and then be on your way to better income.

Do some of Blue Cliff Graduates end up being self employed or managers?

Yes. Elements is a day spa on Airport Blvd. opened up by one of our graduates. Our graduates manage and work in most all the major days spas on the Gulf Coast.

How does Blue Cliff prices and quality compare to Day Spas and Hotel Salons?

The prices are often about 70 percent less than typical day spa
prices. Example: 1 hour massage for $25, and sometimes we have discounts off of that.

How do the specials work? Just go to the website? Or call the school?

Either/both. During Christmas season, we have Specials that change DAILY.

Why should someone come to school at Blue Cliff Career College?

It is locally owned, which means our prices are often thousands and thousands less than other schools. Can you imagine having $5,000 less in student loans.

When do classes start again?

New classes start monthly. January classes are now enrolling. It's not to late.
