FAIRHOPE, Ala. (WALA) - Saturday, the Knights of Ecor Rouge took to the streets of Fairhope and drew a huge crowd.

While parade-goers yelled for beads and moonpies, Zane Yoder at Heavely Creations was back in the kitchen making king cakes. He said since Mardi Gras began, they haven't had a second to spare.

"It has been nonstop. This job is really becoming a 20 hour-a-day job," he added.

He's thankful for the rush of business. Yoder said they have had a rough year and this surge is much needed.

Terry Nicholson at Pappa's Pizza in Fairhope agrees. Looking into his restaurant on Saturday, you would of never thought they've struggled. But Nicholson said they've had a rough year, too.

He said he's thankful that with the parades, comes a steady stream of business.

Fairhope will be bustling with parades again next week with the Maids of Jubilee riding on Friday.
