Man found dead on front lawn of a home

MOBILE, Ala. - A man was shot around 5:00 Monday evening. Police were called to the scene, at a home in the 700 block of Salvia Street East. They found 24-year-old Steven Henderson on the front lawn, with a gunshot wound to the head.

Henderson was pronounced dead on the scene.

Officer Chris Levy, with the Mobile Police Department, told FOX10 News, "This man doesn't appear to live here, there were people at home at the time but this doesn't appear to be his house."

Police aren't sure why Henderson was at the home and so far no suspects have been named.

Mobile Police are continuing their investigation and information will be released as it becomes available.
