Keith McCants was a football phenom born and raised in Mobile. At Murphy High School he was All-State, at Alabama he was an All-American and in the NFL he signed a record contract and went on to play for six seasons.
After football, McCants had substance abuse and legal problems. It's an issue that's all too common among sports stars and it's the subject of ESPN's new documentary "Broke". McCants is featured in the documentary.
