Local agricultural students are taking donations of gently worn shoes to those in need across the United States. Megan Saunders is a member of the Future Farmers of America. She is a state officer for FFA and sat down with Joe to talk about how school chapters are collecting the shoes for Sole4Souls.
It is a Nashville-based charity which collects shoes from footwear companies and closets from folks like you. FFA's goal is to collect shoes through out the state for those in need.
If you are interested in donating gently worn shoes to those in need, just drop them off at an FFA club at your local high school.
Click Soles4Souls for more information on the charity, and click FFA for more information on the agricultural group.
