African American singer/songwriter Jue is making his way in the music scene. Jue was born and raised in Mobile and enjoys playing the piano and drums. He has 14 siblings and he is a father. With the support of his parents Sharon and Benjamin Bracy, he possess the incredible ability to sing, write and perform.
The name Jue stemmed from his understanding in life. Jue strives to understand everything that goes on in life, young and old, everyday struggles and hardship. He says his name defines him.
When Jue was 10 years old, his mother bought him a toy keyboard. During Bible studies that were held in his home for people in his neighborhood, Jue was exposed to keyboard. He taught himself by listening to other piano players and practicing daily.
Jue says he is inspired musically by Michael Jackson, Sam Cooke, Al Green, Marvin Gay, Zapp and Roger, Whitney Houston, Jay Z, Lil Wayne, and Akon. He believes Michael Jackson was the world’s best performer, because despite Jackson’s obstacles, he still made hit songs and was a musical genius.
Jue's life changed in October 2011 when he opened up for Jill Scott on the Wind Creek Casino stage at BayFest. Shortly after Jue met radio personality Nina Rawz, who recruited him to Rawz Entertainment Music Management.
Jue is currently working with Jay Trill Studios on more inspirational hits for his upcoming EP. When he's not in the studio, you will either catch him at Bell Air Mall playing for mall-goers, or at home with his family. Jue says with the help of God, he can become the best inspirational songwriter and artist ever.
