Will James began his musical journey at the age of ten when he begged his parents to buy him a guitar so he could learn to play popular songs. His early influences began with everything from Jerry Lee Lewis to Garth Brooks and Alan Jackson.

Over the years, his various tastes in music began to evolve as he began to appreciate pop, classic rock, alternative, and folk/acoustic styles of music. All of these different genres and his church have helped him with his vocal development, and have shaped him into the songwriter that he has grown to be.

Currently Will is pursuing his passion for country music in the style of artists like Jason Aldean, Brantley Gilbert, and Eric Church. Will offers a southern rock edginess with a romantic country boy side in his love songs. He hopes to make it as a songwriter and solo performer in Nashville, where he plans to move during the summer of 2013.
