Party at the Moontower features long-time Gulf Coast musicians Kennon Barton, Pat Powell, Marlowe Ramirez, and Michael Ross. The group formed in the summer of 2010 after years of playing acoustic shows together in separate bands.

The guys have been recording and selling their music independently for two years. During that time they have worked to combine different influences and styles to create songs that carry deep meanings and memorable lyrics. Individual songs tend to be eclectic combinations of different sub-genres of rock, but their latest record, "The Sky is Falling", can most easily be described as upbeat, melodic rock with elements of Grunge, Pop, and Psychedelia.

They band has performed and toured all along the Gulf Coast and in parts of Texas. They headlined the Full Moon Festival in fall 2011 in Dallas, and played two years in a row at SXSW in Austin. The band is currently preparing to tour with their latest album, and they will begin their third independent recording project in the Summer of 2012.
