Mobile Works provides short term training and employment programs to prepare job seekers with the necessary skills to compete in today’s job market. Mobile Works is one of three local workforce investment areas. Other local workforce areas include Jefferson County and the balance of state.

What is the OJT Program?

The On-the-Job Training (OJT) Program allows Mobile Works to partner with area businesses to create a customized training program for a new hire for up to 26 weeks.  Mobile works will subsidize up to 90% of those costs while the new hire completes the training phase.
