Dixie needs a home

Dixie is a female Dachshund and is approximately 5 years old. Dixie is a medium size dog and weighs about 25 pounds.

Dixie is a wonderful dog and a hero.  Dixie rescued 7 of her puppies from a burning home.  She is a good mother to her puppies and despite minor injuries from the fire, Dixie and her pups are doing great!.

Dixie is a sweet, friendly and loving girl. She loves people, attention and having her head and belly rubbed. Dixie is laid-back and content to hang out in the sun or on her comfy bed. She would be a wonderful companion and deserves a very special and loving home.
