Waldo needs a loving home

Waldo is a sweet and wonderful dog! He is very sociable and friendly. Waldo is extremely good with people, children and other dogs.

Waldo and Jazz (also listed on PetFinder) were adopted together and for no fault of their own have been returned to ARF. Due to lifestyle changes (job, travel and residences) their owners, with heavy hearts, felt it was best to find Waldo and Jazz new homes where they would receive the time, attention and love they were accustomed to and deserve.

Waldo loves to go for walks and loves to chew toys and rawhide. He enjoys playing catch and wrestling with Jazz even though he usually "loses!" Waldo is definitely the beta dog of the two. Waldo enjoys running and playing in the fenced yard. He is very well behaved both inside and outside the house and will let you know when he needs to go outside. He knows sit and shake but does need a bit of training on a leash.

Waldo is a sweet dog that loves human companionship and likes to be with his people. He would love to have a big fenced yard and a playmate in his new home. Waldo would be a loving and loyal companion for any family!

Waldo is a male Flat-coated Retriever / Australian Shepherd mix and approximately 4 years old (June 2012). He is a medium size dog and weighs about 46 pounds.
