MOBILE, Ala. - There was a pretty big turnout for the foreclosure auction at the Mobile Civic Center Tuesday.

Investors and people looking to buy their first home, or summer a home, all came out hoping to find a buy.

Homes and condominiums from Mobile and Baldwin County were auctioned off.

Lee Eckels said he was happy with his winning bid of $80,000. He said it's an investment property in Elberta.

Ron Coleman, a Mobile investor, said he won a bid on a condominium in Gulf Shores for $67,000.

Charles James of Mobile said he wasn't surprised at the low prices. With the all the problems he's heard about in the housing industry, he was expecting to get a good deal.

The sellers will have 14 days to decide if they will accept the winning bids.
