PENSACOLA, Ala. - Escambia County Supervisor of Elections David H. Stafford wants to remind voters in Pensacola about the City Council Districts 4 and 7 run-off on November 25.
Those who wish to mail in an absentee ballot should do so by no later than close of business on Wednesday, November 19.
Voters can click here for more information. Requests must include the voter's date of birth and the address where the ballot should be mailed.
A voter will still have the ability after Wednesday to pick up an absentee ballot or vote an absentee ballot in person at the Elections Office. Voted absentee ballots must be received in the Elections Office no later than 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, November 25th.
Polls will be open on Election Day from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Voters must present photo and signature ID at the polls, or must vote a provisional ballot.
The November 25, 2008 run-off election is being held to decide the Pensacola City Council, District 4 contest between Marty Donovan and Larry B. Johnson, and the District 7 contest between Jacqueline (Jacci) Shumaker and Ronald P. Townsend. Only voters in these two city districts are eligible to vote in this election.
