LOXLEY, Ala. - Update: 11:27 a.m. Loxley Police have released more details in the Conner chase missing child case. Investigators say Conner was taken by his father, Timothy Wakefield. He was apparently using the child to ask people for money. He had solicited around 40 people before police intervened. Wakefield said he had gotten around $800 from people, but when police found him, there was no money on him. Loxley police were considering issuing an Amber Alert for Conner before he was located. Hubert Tate talked to Conner's mother, Stephanie Chase about the harrowing hours while he was missing. Watch FOX10 News at 5:00 p.m. for that story.

Update: 4:30a.m.  5-year-old Conner Allen Chase, has been found. Police would not say where Conner was found or if anyone has been charged in his disappearance.

2/25/2009 7:08 p.m. Conner Allen Chase, 5, was last seen in Loxley, Alabama on Tuesday with his father, Timothy Wakefield. They may be in a 1996 White Chevrolet C2500 work truck with utility boxes on the bed of the truck. License plates numbers are unknown. The boy's father is wanted for questioning.
