PENSACOLA BEACH, Fla. - Spring Break is in full gear at Pensacola beach. With the crowds, come all sorts of problems. Security is at the max to make sure those problems don't turn dangerous.

The traffic at Pensacola beach is backed up and it's expected to only get worse. More and more people are heading in for spring break.

Not everyone is here for a quiet day at the beach, deputies say most spring breakers are here to party! Mike Ward with the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office said, "Usually during spring break you'll have underage drinkers, college crowd"

Ward said that means more problems. During this time of year, the sheriff's office has twice as many deputies on the beach. Ward said, "With that comes inexperience of drinking which leads disturbances and fights. We do hire extra deputies, more law enforcement, we try to stay with zero tolerance, if we catch you , you'll go to jail."

That's a pretty strong message, they're trying to let the kids know before they get in trouble. So far they've only had a few fights, but they expect starting this weekend, Spring Break is in full gear, and that's when they'll start seeing the bigger problems.
