Dannie Roy Baker, suspect in deadly shootout

MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla. - UPDATE: 4:06 p.m. Officials have released more information in the deadly standoff shooting. They say one man and one woman were killed. Of the three that were shot, one is in critical condition, another is in stable condition, and another is in good condition.
Two were taken to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, and the other was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital in Walton County.
There is still no known motive on why Dannie Baker opened fire. He will be charged with two counts of murder, and three counts of attempted murder.
10:34 a.m. Two people are dead, and three others injured after a Thursday morning shootout. It happened around 1:50 a.m. in Miramar Beach. That's in South Walton County.
Deputies say the shootout lasted almost five hours. The suspect, Dannie Baker, 60, was holed up in a town home in the Summer Lakes complex. Deputies with Walton County, Okaloosa County, and Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Offices responded with special response and support teams. They were able to take Bake into custody without incident.
Two victims were air-lifted, while another was taken to a local hospital. Two people were killed. The names of the victims have not been released. Officials do not have a motive for the shootings as of yet.
