Short-term renting complaints

ORANGE BEACH, Ala. - Some people living in Orange Beach want their neighbors to stop 'short-term renting' their homes. For young party-goers, short-term renting is ideal for spring break. They can enjoy all the amenities of a home with little to no supervision. But those who live close to the "short-term" renters say the spring-breaker's dream is becoming their nightmare.

Neighbors are complaining that the noise is too loud. They say some renters are even using the balcony as a bathroom.

Tonight, the Orange Beach City Council will hold a meeting to talk about putting restrictions on short-term renting. Hubert Tate will bring you this story tonight on Fox 10 News at 5pm.
