MOBILE, Ala. - Mobile Police want to know who shot a woman three times, hitting her once in the face. Officers got a call that shots were fired near Camp and Cuba Streets around 1:30 p.m. Thursday.

FOX10's Hubert Tate just returned from the scene. He joins us live in the newsroom with the latest on this developing story.

Police say they do have the accomplice in custody. However, the actual shooter is still out roaming the streets.

Police tell us the woman was sitting outside on the porch when the man shot her. Investigators believe this is the result of an attempted robbery. The woman was hit in the hand, face and hip. She was rushed to USA Medical Center where she is in stable condition.

As for the person still on the loose, Mobile Police say he was last seen wearing a green jacket and blue jeans. They think he is in his early 20s.

"We are looking for a black male that goes by the name Marcus. He's also known as Napoleon."

The shooter was on foot at the time, so there is no description of a possible getaway car. Also, police have not released the name of the suspects or the victim involved.

We'll update this developing story coming up tonight on FOX10 News at 9:00 p.m.
