GULF SHORES, Ala. - The 38th Annual National Shrimp Festival descended upon Gulf Shores and it was all about one thing.
"Uhhhh... Shrimp! Hello," said visitor, Annette Ethridge.
The shrimp came in all shapes and sizes, such as: Alabama Wild Gulf shrimp, fried jumbo shrimp on a stick, pistols, etc.
But of course, the folks at the shrimp fest said bigger is always better.
And for those who prefer lobster, they have that too.
"We just got here and we don't know what we're doing," said one visitor from Illinois. "We want to try a little bit of everything."
And that doesn't just mean food.
The shrimp fest is also known for it's music, art -- even, toys.
"I like the arts and crafts and they've got some all different ones," Ethridge said. "It's really neat around here."
But remember, supplies have been limited, especially the shrimp.
"While, they're hot," shouted one vendor. "They don't last!
It's open from 10:00 - 10:00 on Oct.10 and 10:00 - 5:00 on Oct.11.
