GULF COAST -
Mobile County:
- Carnival Fantasy will now operate a modified five-day cruise
Mobile that
will depart Wednesday, Nov. 11. Ports of call
include Cozumel and Costa Maya. The ship was originally scheduled
to operate a six-day cruise from Mobile departing Tuesday, Nov.
10. Guests will receive a pro-rated refund of the cruise fare
paid for the six-day cruise. Guests have the option of cancelling
and receiving a full refund. All guests on the affected voyage
have been notified of the itinerary change. Carnival sincerely
apologizes for this disruption to our guests’ vacation
plans.
- County offices at Mobile Government Plaza will be closed on
Tuesday.
- Mobile County administration, the County Revenue and License
Commissions and the courts all will be closed.
- City of Mobile Government Offices, including those inside
Government Plaza, will be
open on Tuesday, November 10.
- Municipal court in Mobile is open today.
- Garbage and Trash collection in
Mobile will be running, but due to weather conditions,
they may be a little late.
- Mobile County Public Works Department and the Sheriff’s
Office will be
open.
- The Forum Alabama lunch scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 10 at the
Arthur R. Outlaw Mobile Convention Center has been
postponed. A new date for this lunch will be
announced shortly.
- Monday night's Job Search Strategies for Today’s
Economy has been
rescheduled for Monday, Nov. 16. All subsequent
meetings for this series of workshops will be moved to the next
Monday.
- VA Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System clinic
closed Tuesday. They will also be closed on
Wednesday for Veteran's Day. They are scheduled to reopen during
normal business hours on Thursday.
- The Independent Living Center will close at 2:00 p.m. Monday
and will be
closed on Tuesday.
- Regions Bank branches will close at 2:00 p.m. Monday.
- The Mobile Police Department has
cancelled this month’s vehicle auction
scheduled for Tuesday, November 10. They will notify the public
when this event will be re-scheduled.
- Mobile County Health Department clinics and facilities will
be
closed Tuesday. They will also be closed
Wednesday, November 11, in observance of Veterans Day.
- VT Halter Marine, Inc employees:
- All pre-designated production employees and start up crews
are to report back to work at 12 noon or earlier, weather
permitting on Tuesday, November 10.
- All Engineers, Administration and Production employees are
to report back to work at their normal scheduled work time on
Wednesday, November 11.
- Night shift has been cancelled for Monday, November 9 and
Tuesday, November 10 and should return to work on Wednesday,
November 11 at the normal scheduled work time.
- Prichard City Hall and all city facilities will close Monday
4:00 p.m. and will remain closed on Tuesday, November 10. In
observance of Veterans Day, the City of Prichard will also be
closed on Wednesday, November 11. The city plans to resume
regular hours on Thursday, November 12 at 8:00 a.m.
- Mobile Gas offices
will open at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, November 10.
The standard opening time of 8:00 a.m. is being adjusted due to
tropical storm Ida. Standard office hours of 7:30 a.m. –
5:30 p.m. will resume on Wednesday, November 11.
- Gulf Shores Bread Ministry - closed Tuesday
- All 7 Boys and Girls clubs of South Alabama will be closed
Tuesday
Baldwin County:
- Prodisee Pantry in Spanish Fort will be
closed Monday and Tuesday. Prodisee Pantry feeds
the homeless and needy. It will re-open Monday and Tuesday of
next week.
- The Dauphin Island Sea Lab and the Estuarium will both
close at Noon Monday and remain closed through
Tuesday.
- All BRATS routes are cancelled for Monday
- All judicial courts and court proceedings are closed
Monday
- Gulf Shores City Hall and all other city departments close at
3pm Monday and reopen Tuesday at Noon. Regular City Council
Meeting scheduled for today at 5pm has been
postponed.
- Mobile Bay Ferry Service will be
closed Monday, November 9
through Wednesday, November 11. Ferry service
will resume when it is determined safe after the storm passes.

- S.C.S. Sports & Karate in Daphne and Robertsdale has
cancelled classes for Monday night.
- Regions Bank branches will close at 2:00 p.m. Monday.
- Veterans Day program at the Nix Center is
cancelled for Tuesday. The facility will not
open until noon.
Florida:
- Northwest Florida Blood Services will
close at 3pm Monday, November 9 at all donor
centers in Pensacola, Ft Walton and Panama City. All centers will
open at noon on Tuesday, November 10. For more

- The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office will close at Noon
Monday and remain closed Tuesday. The Citizen Information line
will be open at 850-436-9630 and will be operational for the next

- Gulf Islands National Seashore has closed all locations in
Florida: Fort Pickens, Opal Beach, Perdido Key, Naval Live Oaks,

13th at 830am.

- Southwest Alabama Mental Health Center in Brewton will be
closed Tuesday.
- Atmore Municipal Offices will be
open Tuesday.
- Brewton Municipal Offices will be
open Tuesday.
- East Brewton Municipal Offices will be
open Tuesday.
- Flomaton Municipal Offices will be
open Tuesday.
