Valet car thief arrested

MOBILE, Ala. - Biloxi Police say the man seen a stolen White Altima is Troy Lyon. Right now, he is in Mobile Metro Jail on an unrelated charge.

Soon he will have more charges coming his way since Biloxi Police served their warrant. A second person, Charles Wilkins, who investigators say drove the second getaway, is also being questioned in the case.

Officers say the two men worked together to steal the Altima. The hotel attendant placed the car in the valet parking line for the owner to claim.

But investigators say Lyon hopped in and stole the car instead. When the crime happened Biloxi Police had no trace of the car nor the suspects. They assumed the accused men had left the area to avoid capture.

And apparently their assumptions were right. They found the suspects in Mobile County. Lyon was already wanted for deserting the Army.

As for the car, it belonged to a woman who worked at the casino. Police have not found it yet.
