Veterans get help finding work

NAVARRE, Fla. (WALA) - Out of work veterans in Northwest Florida are getting some help landing a job. The sixth annual Northwest Florida Veterans & Military Hiring Fair is Friday, November 2nd.

The free hiring fair is hosted by Jobs Plus and Workforce Escarosa and is designed to help veterans find jobs within the local community. More than 40 employers will be on hand including Boeing Company, Aerotek, BAE Systems, Gulf Power, Cintas, Covenant Hospice, Lockhead Martin, Lowe's, Micro Systems and much more.

The job fair will be from 9:00 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Days Inn Conference Center on Navarre Parkway in Navarre. Employers are prepared conduct on the spot interviews, so attendees should come dressed in professional attire and bring their resumes along with them.
