MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Alabama Governor Robert Bentley on Monday announced the approval of 302 additional road and bridge projects, the largest number of projects announced to date under the Alabama Transportation Rehabilitation and Improvement Program ( ATRIP ).
There are 5 projects planned for Baldwin County and one for Mobile County.
The $21.5 million in Baldwin County include:
· additional turn lanes and signals at US-98 and County Road 65
· intersection improvements at CR-64 and CR-13
· resurfacing CR-20 from SR-59 to S. Hickory Street
· extending of Wilters from CR-83 to SR-59 in Robertsdale
· extending Pride Drive from SR-59 to CR-20 in Foley.
Mobile County’s $5.2 million project involves resurfacing County Road 96 (Coy Smith Highway) from School Street to US-43.
