Funeral for fallen Perdido marine

BAY MINETTE, Ala. - The funeral for a fallen Marine was held Sunday.

Lance Corporal Bruce Ferrell Jr. was killed in Afghanistan when a roadside bomb hit his patrol.

Ferrell's body arrived by plane at Mobile Regional Airport Sunday morning and was taken to the Bay Minette Civic Center.

There, a wake was held for the Perdido marine. The wake was held from 2 p.m to 8 p.m.

The funeral will also be held at the Civic Center on Monday at 2 p.m. The burial will follow at Bryars-Mcgill Cemetery in Perdido.
