Talladega child abducted by father, officials say

May be headed toward Daytona Beach, Fla.

TALLADEGA, Fla. (WALA) - Officials said a child taken by his non-custodial father from a fast food restaurant in Talladega on Wednesday is in danger.

Authorities said 5-year-old Thomas Evan Diggs was last seen wearing camouflage pants and a green John Deere Shirt. They said the child’s father, Thomas Eric Diggs, took him in a white 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee and may be headed toward Daytona Beach Fla.

They said the Alabama tag number of the vehicle is BA14549.
