DOTHAN, Ala. (AP) — A Dothan man has pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of a crash that killed a motorcyclist in 2011.
Authorities say 22-year-old Ladarius Ward left the scene of an accident in September 2011 that left 24-year-old Kevin Blake Kelly dead. Police said Kelly was riding his motorcycle when Ward pulled into his path near Wiregrass Commons Mall.
The Dothan Eagle reports (http://bit.ly/WElC13) Ward entered a blind guilty plea — meaning no agreement has been made as far as his sentencing.
Ward is scheduled to be sentenced April 18 in circuit court.
