Ala. man sentenced in child rape case

    FOLEY, Ala. (AP) — A south Alabama man accused of raping an 11-year-old girl has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.

    AL.com (http://bit.ly/XRhutV ) reports 19-year-old Spencer Wasp, of Foley, pleaded guilty to charges of rape and sodomy.

    Wasp was arrested in August of 2010 and pleaded guilty in December.

    Foley is about 45 miles southeast of Mobile.
