Clarke County EMA asks people to stay off roads

CLARKE COUNTY, Ala. (WALA) - The Clarke County EMA said several homes sustained minor damage during the severe weather that tore through the area Christmas Day.

They said multiple roads are blocked by downed trees and power lines in and around the Grove Hill area.

Officials said at least 1,000 people are without power.

They said no injuries have been reported.

Officials ask that people stay off the roads.
