MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - A judge says Attorney General Troy King still must tell him by Monday where he stands on the electronic bingo investigation by the Governor's Task Force on Illegal Gambling.

But Circuit Judge Robert Vance Jr. of Birmingham has put on hold the remainder of the order he issued last week involving the task force.

The governor and his task force had asked Vance to put the entire order on hold while they appeal to the Alabama Supreme Court. Vance declined to go that far in an order issued Tuesday.

The case stems from the task force's raid last year on the White Hall Entertainment Center in Lowndes County. The center has been closed for more than a month to prevent a second raid.
