MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Two sisters who were the winner and the runner-up in season 11 of "The Biggest Loser" TV show are going to be the spokeswomen for Scale Back Alabama.
The sixth year of the statewide weight loss program kicks off Thursday in Montgomery. Officials say Olivia Ward, who was the winner, and her sister, Hannah Curlee, will be the spokeswomen and role models for the 10-week contest. They are graduates of the University of Alabama. Since appearing on the TV show, both try to motivate people to lose weight.
Alabama's contest involves teams of four. Weigh-ins will be Jan. 21-27, and there are weigh-in sites in every county. Weigh-outs will be April 7-13.
