GULF SHORES, Ala. (WALA) - The Hangout held the Gulf Coast Seafood and Tourism Bash. Along with free food, games and cool prizes, it was an opportunity to showcase one of the best things this area has to offer, seafood!

It doesn't matter which team these folks swear their allegiance to. On Monday night, there's one thing these enemies can share in common, food.

Monday was an opportunity to feast on this area's finest fare while watching the country's biggest game.

Along with the match up, there was other entertainment to be enjoyed as well; a pie eating contest, a trivia game; and a frozen t-shirt contest, where contestants had to quickly put on a frozen t-shirt.

There were great prizes to be given away including a vacation package.

But as game time approached, these folks made sure their side was known.

"I hope LSU wins!" said one man.

"This is number 3 baby! We're bringing it home for the third time in a row," said an Alabama fan.

"I am from Alabama, my children were born in Louisiana, so it's a win-win situation for me." said a woman representing both teams.

Two of this region's finest in one place, football and seafood.
