FORT WALTON BEACH - A woman on Pine Alley Street in the Fort Walton Beach area tells deputies that a man rang her doorbell, then busted in her front door October 30th. Deputies say the burglar ran out and took off in his car when the homeowner began screaming.

Deputies with the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office were called to the scene of the burglary in progress at the woman's townhome around 12:36am.

The individual they're seeking is described as a tall, skinny black male. He had close cut hair and looked to be in his early to mid twenties. He was wearing a black shirt, baggy shorts and a dark baseball hat. The victim says the suspect had backed a black, older, "boxy style" Chevrolet Tahoe into her driveway. The Tahoe had dark tinted windows and appeared to either be dirty or have dull, faded black paint.

Anyone with information on this burglary is asked to contact the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office at 850-651-7400 or Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers at 850-863-TIPS.
