BREWTON, Ala. (WALA) - Brewton police said they need your help capturing 28-year-old Timothy Peterson of Brewton.

"I think he's still around this area. I think he's laying low," said Sergeant Patrick Caylor, Brewton Police Department.

Peterson, along with Michael Peterson and John Atkins, who are already in custody, are suspected of burglarizing a Fleming Lane home.

"But I feel like that one and another house will be tied to the same three suspects," said Sgt. Caylor.

Police said a man, checking on the empty home, discovered there had been a break-in.

"He noticed that the front door was pried open and the door going in to the garage the glass was busted out of it," said Sgt. Caylor.

Once inside he saw a lot of damage, and realized thieves had stolen metal items from his house.

"The sheetrock and paneling [were] pulled away from the walls and outlets were knocked out where the copper wire was taken," said Sgt. Caylor. "And then he noticed that the refrigerator, and the stove, and the kitchen sink and all that was missing.

Sgt. Caylor said they began checking scrap yards because of the items taken.

"I was able to take some pictures out there of the suspect and they identified them," said Sgt. Caylor, "I was able to retrieve video of them weighing some of the property.

All three suspects face burglary-third degree and theft-first degree charges.
