Man arrested for burglarizing school

PRICHARD, Ala. - It didn't take Prichard police long to catch an elementary school burglar.

Officers went to Whitley Elementary School, responding to a burglary alarm. When they got there, they saw 27-year-old Alvin Jordan running out of the back of the school.

After a short foot chase, police caught up with him. Jordan was arrested and charged with third degree burglary.

No items were determined missing at the time. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
