Men robbed in movie theater parking lot

MOBILE, Ala. - Mobile police say two men were robbed at the Carmike Theater on Schillinger Road last Wednesday around 2:20 in the afternoon. Police say during the robbery, one black man with a handgun and one black woman demanded money from the two victims.

The men gave the robbers their wallets and nobody was hurt. The suspects left in a gold Honda Civic with dark tinted windows. After an investigation, robbery detectives identified 19-year-old Derrick Coleman as the gunman.

Coleman was picked up on Cadillac Drive on November 3rd around 5:30pm and taken to Metro Jail charged with robbery. Detectives are still investigating the identity of the female suspect.
