MOBILE, Ala. - Two juveniles lead Mobile police on a wild car chase that ended with a crash.

After the crash, the teens took off on foot. But they didn't get far. It all ended at the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Eagle Drive Monday morning.

A Mobile woman couldn't believe her eyes when she saw her car smashed up on Michigan Avenue. What she found even harder to believe was how it got there.

"My son stole it," said the woman.

Mobile police said officers tried to pull the car over at Ann and Duval Streets but the teens took off. Police gave chase.

It all ended when the juvenile driver ran a red light and ran right into another car. Jodie Jones saw it all.

"He jetted across the intersection, running from police. I said, 'Jason he's going to hit that car,' and he goosed it and almost hit us," said Jones.

The other driver hit was taken to the hospital. Police said after impact the teens bailed, but didn't get far.

"He kept saying Mom, Mom. I said I don't want to talk to you, because you was wrong for what you did," said the teen suspect's mother.

Now this woman is trying to keep her car from going to impound, while the two teens got a ride to the Strickland Youth Center.

Mobile police said the teens are facing a number of charges including eluding police, and reckless endangerment.
