Tips lead investigators to meth lab

MOBILE, Ala. - Anonymous tips led Mobile County Narcotics Investigators straight to a meth lab. It happened July 21 at a house on Woodstock Court.

Investigators say they noticed a strong ammonia smell coming from the house when they walked up. After searching the house, investigators found a working meth lab, paraphernalia, and a small amount of manufactured meth.

Three juveniles were in the house at the time of arrests. The 17-year-old was released to her parents while the eight and five-year-olds were picked up by DHR.

Dean Arvin Wall, Lisa Kim Wall, and Blane Allen Jones, Jr. were arrested and taken to Mobile Metro Jail and charged with Manufacturing 1st degree, possession of controlled substance and Two counts of child Endangering.

The Meth Initiative, designed by the Mobile County Sheriff's Office, targets meth users and manufactures through three areas of focus: Enforcement, Compliance and Education.
