BAY MINETTE, Ala. (WALA) - Three more arrests have been made in connection to the murder of Samuel Dixson. Members of a motorcycle gang called the Devil's Diciples are implicated in the crime.
Three more “Diciples” arrested
Bruce Talbot, Ruth Boyles and Mary Hockett are the latest arrests in the investigation into the murder of 54-year-old Samuel Dixson in Baldwin County.
Authorities said they are all members of a motorcycle gang called the ‘Devil’s Diciples.’ They are charged with obstructing justice.
Baldwin County Sheriff Hoss Mack said the gang members were following a code of silence.
He told us, “All three of these individual have lied to law enforcement regarding circumstances we believe both during and following the murder in this case.”
This brings the total to five arrests in this case. Fred Weiss and Adam Mayton turned themselves in last week. They were charged with murder. Dixson’s body was found in a ditch in the Styx River area. Investigators believe his body was dumped there after he was killed at the Devil’s Disciples clubhouse on Northcutt Dr., east of Loxley.
”We still believe that everything was an internal situation that happened in the clubhouse that night,” Mack said.

The clubhouse was burned after the murder, police say that was likely done to cover up evidence.
More arrests possible
There may be more arrests in this case because investigators believe there were more gang members here that night. At this point, they are unsure of just how many of them were there at the actual time of the murder.
Mack said the Devil’s Diciples have been known to be involved in criminal activity, and that adds another level of issues when dealing with a case like this.
"This particular group has chapters in other states so you worry about flight of prosecution. You worry about intimidation of witnesses. We preparing for all those and will deal with all those things if they come up as a concern,” Mack said.
According to the Devil’s Diciples website, it says the club is not a criminal organization; it also goes on to say the police are not welcome in the club because quote “we like to be free and stay that way.”
FOX10 News will continue to follow up on this case and let you know if any more arrests are made.
