MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - An arrest warrant has been signed for a Mobile woman accused of throwing a puppy off a third story balcony after she did not show up for court.

Kendria Monique Dexter, 21, faces a felony first-degree dog cruelty charge.

According to Police, Dexter threw a 9-week old dachshund off the balcony after an argument with her roommate. The dog named Lola, survived and is in a new home.
