MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Mobile police arrested Jeremy Weekley Wednesday as he drove away from the Hancock Bank in Tillman's Corner which they believe he robbed.

Weekley is also charged with robbing another bank as well as a convenience store.

Police cars lined Highway 90 near Broadview Road in Tillman’s Corner where investigators searched a light colored four-door sedan on Wednesday.

Police are convinced Weekley has been busy. He's also charged in two other robberies.

Sunday, police said Weekley, armed with a gun, demanded money from clerk working the register at the Super Stop on Old Pascagoula Road then escaped in a gold Ford Taurus.

Monday, at the Bank Trust located on the corner of Cottage Hill and Schillinger roads, surveillance video shows a man handing the teller a note and demanding money. Police said the teller complied with the suspect and he immediately left the scene in a tan mid-sized vehicle.

Weekley faces one count of third-degree robbery and two counts of first-degree robbery in the three incidents. Police believe he acted alone. The investigation is ongoing.
