Mobile firefighter enters not guilty plea

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - The attorney for a Mobile Firefighter who was arrested during Mardi Gras entered a plea of not guilty Monday.

Terrance Bridges's arraignment was held in Municipal Court.  Bridges who is a training officer for Mobile Fire Rescue and the president of The Conde Explorers Mardi Gras organization is charged with disorderly conduct, failure to obey a police officer, and public intoxication.

Police say Bridges became unruly when an officer told him to get behind a barricade just before the start of the Explorers' parade in January. 

Judge Holmes Whidden set a trial date for April 30.
