Child sex battery arrest in Crestview

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. - The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office has arrested a Crestview man on charges of sexual battery on a victim under the age of twelve, lewd or lascivious molestation of a victim under the age of twelve, and distributing obscene material to a minor.

Fifty-four-year-old James Gilsdorf of Crestview is accused of playing pornographic movies in front of a 10-year-old girl and offering to pay her cash to wear only her shirt and panties. Gilsford is also accused of fondling the child after having her sit on his lap to play video games. The incidents occurred between the summer of 2008 and summer 2009.

Investigator Ralph Garrett says he believes there is a possibility there could be additional victims and the investigation is continuing.

Gilsdorf was booked Thursday into the Okaloosa County jail in Crestview.
