BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. - The Baldwin County Sheriff's Office is investigating claims that a 14-year-old boy sexually assaulted two small children.

The claims come from a family in the Elsanor community. Because of the policy on sex abuse victims, FOX10 is not identifying her.

"I walked in and my world was turned upside down," said the alleged victim's mother.

The woman says she allowed a 14-year-old boy who lives nearby to visit her home. She says she let the boy do that from time to time, while she was home.

"I let him come over, eat dinner, play video games," she said.

But she says what happened Wednesday had nothing to do with fun.

While the mother was in her living room, she noticed an awkward silence from the area where the kids were playing. She says she found the teenager wearing no clothes.

"He was molesting a baby doll. He was naked in front of my two-year-old and five-year-old. He got his clothes on and ran out the door. He said, 'Please don't tell my mama and daddy.'"

Detectives say since the case involves juveniles, they can not release many details. Hoever, the mother says she did take her kids to the hospital, and doctors determined the two-year-old had been assaulted.

The distraught mother says the teenager needs to get help.

"Maybe he needs to see a counselor, for mental health. There are all types of places out there for help."

The Baldwin County Sheriff's Office says it is looking into this matter as a sex abuse case. It's working with investigators from the Department of Human Resources.

The mother says the five-year-old did not have any noticeable injuries.
