PENSACOLA, Fla. (WALA) - Escambia County Deputies are now searching for a suspect in the killing of a 67-year-old Pensacola man, who was fatally wounded in a shooting Friday night.
The shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. near the 2700 block of West Brainerd street in the Brownsville community. Deputies say the victim was taken to a local hospital where he died.
Friends of the victim say that he was a friendly person who never meant harm to anyone. Authorities have not yet released his name.
The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office says no suspects have been named. However, they say they are currently looking for a man driving a dark-colored truck.
