BILOXI, Miss. (WALA) - Harrison County deputies have arrested two Gretna, La., men in a traffic stop after finding them traveling with 31 pounds of marijuana with an estimated street value of $50,000, and $9,000 in cash.

Sheriff Melvin Brisolara tells The Sun Herald the hydroponic marijuana was wrapped in one-pound bags.

Brisolara says 28-year-old Derrick Wayne Le was following too closely to another vehicle Friday on Interstate 10 when a deputy stopped him in Biloxi.

Le and his passenger, 26-year-old Trung Duc Huynh were arrested on a charge of possession with intent to distribute marijuana. They were booked at the Harrison County jail on $100,000 bonds.

Le and Huynh have been released on bond.

It was unclear whether Le and Huynh have attorneys.
